College Choir in a performance of Benjamin Britten's Rejoice in the
Lamb at the annual meeting of the Academy of American Poets at the
Church of the Transfiguration (the Little Church Around the Corner) in
New York City. Bruce's parents had been married in this church in
1946. The Choir returned to Worcester that night in the middle of
what has become known as the Great Blizzard of '78 (record snowfall in
the northeast).
