Some musicians who
had been intending
to travel from England to participate in what would have been Bruce's
inaugural
Light Opera Company production of H.M.S. Pinafore organised
the official UK tribute to Bruce.
Severnside Theatre
Ensemble together with friends from near and far presented the Maiden Voyage in concert performance
of
the complete Broude Critical Edition of H.M.S. Pinafore at St.
George's
Church, Barbourne, Worcester, England, on the 9th of January 2005,
under the baton of Ian Pattison, of whom Bruce thought highly. A full report will be posted here soon.
